  • Good morning everybody, looks like a warm and clear day shaping up here today. Lots of activity around here as people open up their cottages and the fishermen come and go. Life here runs in cycles few people and lots of wildlife and vice versa and that changes year to year. I'm not sure which one I prefer, so while I think about that, I'm in 4/24. Have a nice day everyone.
  • I'm pledging another 24 hours of sobriety. Aiming for another day of peace and serenity!
  • I pledge 24 hours of sobriety!
  • Grateful to be alive and sober this morning. Aiming for grace for another day.

  • Good morning ((((Everyone)))). I'm up before the birds this morning due to a touch of insomnia, so today's going to be a long day. But, I'm not going to drink over it.

I got my medical clearance to start acupuncture yesterday, so I;m looking forward to starting that sometime next week. And today I'm meeting my new therapist who I'll be working with for the next 16 weeks - a year.

Also bought 3 fans yesterday, as I suspect we're going to be in for a scorcher of a summer.

Hope you all have a good and sober Fri.

    Sarah
  • I also pledge another day to stay clean and sober. Would like to share something I read. “ My rock bottom was the foundation to build myself a better life”. I truly enjoy the choices that I have made in my life to break free from my addiction. I can finally wake up with a smile and enjoy my new life. Grateful for so much. Everyone have a great day.

  • I'm going to a an 11:00 meeting then meeting with my Sponsor to work on the steps.
  • My husband and I had a VERY honest conversation last night. I am thankful that we can be completely honest and I’m also thankful that I didn’t respond with anger and defensiveness. Not sure what will happen next, but I’m thankful that I can be totally honest, as well as he was. Not sure what the future holds for us, but I’m thankful for being truly authentic.
    • Takes courage thanks for sharing.
  • Each day new progress forward or holding but not regressing.
  • Grateful for the lochs, mountains and glens in this beautiful place I call home
  • TGIF!
  • I’m sober and I have another chance to live my life.
