  • I'm sober. I can now find initiative and willing ambition. With the guidance of my higher power and the principles of the 12 steps I'll do the right things with my initiative rightly directed.
  • I remember what it was like when I was in the bottle and life is so much better ODAAT
  • I feel prepared, I have a plan for just today, I have my spiritual tools, so I'll act on it and let my feelings follow.
  • there are so many wonderful people, places and things that have guided me in my journey of recovery.
  • the lessons of the 12 steps provide me strength to endure. Just for today, I'll practice these principles and find fortitude rather than frailty, regardless of the tribulations that life brings my way.
  • I'm learning to accept change rather than resist it. Even when change brings sadness or fear I find courage with the knowledge that God is offering me an opportunity to learn and grow.
  • ...even though life is frustrating, I am able to stop to remember what is important...staying sober and grateful.
  • life goes so much better with an attitude of gratitude and acceptance.
    • I agree 100 % with you.
  • my sobriety is a byproduct of my recovery. In recovery my physical and mental wellbeing is addressed. My relationships with myself, others, and my God are enhanced. I'm grateful to have my recovery first as I visit life each day.
